FOOD LICENCE FOR TRANSPORTERS

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Electricity Bill of the premises
  • Rent agreement/ Sale deed of premises
  • GST Registration Certificate, if any

FOOD LICENCE FOR IMPORTERS, EXPORTERS AND ECOMMERCE FOOD SUPPLIERS

All importers, exporters and e commerce food suppliers are required to obtain central licence irrespective of the limit of capacity or turnover.
Licence fee for 1 year: Rs.7500/-

Fssai Licence can be applied for minimum 1 year and maximum 5 years. 

A renewal of Fssai licence is required to be done before its expiry. A renewal application can be done before 120 days from the expiry of the food licence.

A renewal application is required to be done before expiry of the food licence. After that a late fee of Rs.100 per day is applicable for renewal.

Yes. Fssai Central Licence is applicable for selling food business through e-commerce platforms.

Yes. Any business dealing in food products or food service is required to obtain a Fssai Licence. Home bakers, Home based canteens, Petty snacks, food stalls, food trucks are required to obtain Fssai License.

After application, it generally takes 15- days to 1 month for getting a fssai certificate.

Yes. All Importers and Exporters are mandatorily required to obtain fssai central licence. They are not eligible to obtain Basic Registration and State Licence.

Single application can be filed for multiple food business. The food business operator shall mention all the food activities at the time of making application.

Yes. All the Food Caterers operating at the railway stations and airports require FSSAI Central License.
